Hey everybody. Check out those great custom bridges from Mainline Bridges. You too can own one for your layout.

There are some 70 feet of custom made bridges by Damian of Mainline Bridges on this layout. They were made to fit the terrain we had to navigate and several of them are curved. They are museum quality, every one, and the pictures don't do them justice. In real life they are just magnificent.

I forgot to mention that the 70 feet of bridges on the Deadwood Central runs over 15 separate bridges.

Awesome layout and colors, and of course those are some nice bridges! I think I need a laced arch bridge. :) Well, first I need to figure out how to plan my expansion as to require one. That's how the real railroads do it, right? Add a 2% grade up a mountain to a big bridge, rather that just following the gentle 1% grade of the existing flat terrain?

Yeah don't you wish we had unlimited terrain like the real guys. To get mine down 1% I'd have had to run through my neighbor's yard and back again :) 4/28/2015 07:48:22 pm
