O-Gauge
This deck girder was the first of its kind. We designed two separate rail beds for the bridge to give the customer freedom on where he wanted to place his tracks. These rail beds fit nicely behind the girder plates so that they are not noticed from the side view. We also added rivets, lettering and custom paint to the girder rails.
The next phase of this project was the abutments. We decide to create the abutments out of H.D.P.E. a plastic material. This material can be cut like wood but will last forever. We also added holes to the abutments so that the deck girder could be fasten in securely. Later when the abutments were finished we sprayed them with a textured plastic sandstone paint to create a concrete look.
